New Clients
If you are interested in booking an initial appointment, please email Helena, the office manager, at lhphysio@telus.net.
Please include:
- Your name
- Your child’s name and age (if applicable)
- Your telephone number
- A brief description of the reason you are seeking treatment
Helena will send you the necessary forms and information and will contact you as soon as possible to arrange your appointment. These forms must be completed before treatment can begin. If you have difficulty completing the medical form, please contact Helena and she will be happy to help you complete it over the phone.

For existing clients needing to reschedule or cancel an appointment, or to contact me directly, please email ada.lou.physio@gmail.com or call 778-238-0545.
Emergency appointments for newborns and infants may occasionally be available on Saturdays.
I also try to accommodate clients travelling from off Island and staying here overnight for treatment by offering appointments on weekends and Mondays when possible.
Appointment Confirmations
You will receive an email reminder confirming the date and time of your appointment the day before your scheduled visit. Please check this reminder carefully to ensure it matches the appointment date and time you have recorded.
Cancellation Policy
Please provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or change an appointment, preferably by email to both Helena at lhphysio@telus.net and Ada-Lou at ada.lou.physio@gmail.com.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be billed at the full treatment fee, which must be paid before another appointment can be booked. Exceptions may be made for sudden health issues or other unforeseen circumstances at Ada-Lou’s discretion.
If you arrive late for your appointment, your session will end at the scheduled time and the full treatment fee will apply.
If I am delayed, I will either make up the time during your appointment or, if that is not possible, during your next scheduled visit.
Important Information for Adult Clients
Very occasionally, an adult appointment may need to be postponed if a newborn requires urgent assessment and there are no other appointments available. Newborns often benefit most from treatment as soon as possible after birth, and I make every effort to accommodate these babies promptly when urgent concerns arise.
If your appointment must be changed, Helena will contact you as soon as possible by telephone, email and/or text message. For this reason, please ensure we have your current contact information and check your phone and email on the morning of your appointment.
I realize that changes to your schedule can be inconvenient, and I sincerely appreciate your understanding. Your flexibility allows me to provide timely care to newborns during those critical first days of life.
