Even when two women have the same diagnosis, the underlying causes, compensations, life experiences, injuries, stressors and healing needs may be very different.
Rather than focusing only on a diagnosis, I listen to your body to understand the condition and what it needs.
Together, we work to find the approaches that best meet your body’s needs and help you move toward greater health and wholeness.
My practice is particularly suited to women dealing with complex or longstanding problems where there may be several contributing factors.
Following an injury or trauma, treatment is most effective when begun early, before the body has had time to adapt to abnormal restrictions or movement patterns and accept them as normal. The longer these patterns have been present, the more time they may take to change. But it is never too late to begin treatment, even for symptoms that have existed for years.

Treatment may also benefit women living with:

- Multiple Sclerosis
- Spinal Cord Injury

MY TREATMENT APPROACH
One-to-One Care
Every treatment is provided by me personally.
Appointments are one hour long with no assistants and no interruptions. Treatment is entirely hands-on, except when state-of-the-art red light therapy devices are used for specific therapeutic purposes.
Looking Beyond Symptoms
Together, we may explore other aspects that might be influencing how your body is functioning, such as your posture, work environment, previous injuries, dietary habits, stress or emotional factors.
Simply having treatment while continuing activities or habits that repeatedly stress the body rarely produces lasting change.
Gentle, Individualized Treatment
Every treatment experience is unique.
During one session, you may simply relax so deeply that you fall asleep. During another, you may become aware of areas of tension releasing within your body. At times, memories, emotions or new insights may surface as long-held patterns begin to unwind.
Depending on your body’s needs, treatment may include gentle hands-on techniques, movement assessment, posture correction, balance training, gait training, mirror feedback, specific exercises or other approaches chosen specifically for you.
Each session unfolds differently as I listen carefully to what your body needs at that particular time.
Clients usually remain fully clothed and are encouraged to wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Maintaining Your Progress
Treatment does not end when you leave.
Before you return to your everyday activities, I will teach you simple ways to incorporate strengthening, stretching, balance and movement naturally into your day, helping you maintain and build on the gains we have achieved during your treatment.
Your body was designed to move in many different ways throughout the day — not just during a twenty-minute exercise session.
If your goals include building greater strength or improving overall fitness, I work collaboratively with a trusted coach who can develop an individualized exercise program while I continue addressing the underlying factors affecting how your body is functioning.
